Mechanical Packing

When your pump or valve application requires packing for the solution, Superior Seals & Service has the correct packing for you.  Superior can provide a relatively new product: injectable pump or valve sealant. However, if you prefer time tested braided packing for your sealing solution,  Superior can provide the finest packings available, or time saving die formed rings. The following packings are offered by Superior Seals:  aramid fiber, carbon yarn, fiberglass, flexible graphite, metallic, PTFE, synthetic, vegetable fiber.

Our packings are available in cross sections of 1/8” to 1”, or if required, in metric cross sections. Depending on the packing selected, coverage can extend from the pH range of 0-14, seal temperatures up to 2500ºF, pressure up to 4500 psi, and speeds up to 4000 FPM.
